Greene and Lutz: The Odd Couple?

Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene may live under the same roof in The Twilight Saga, but with their ridiculously rocky love lives off-screen, we found this cohabitational tidbit to be pretty bloody interesting. Turns out Lutz and Greene may be apartment-hunting in New York together -- here's how Lutz let reporters in on the closed-door convos.

Ashley Greene has hopped from Joe Jonas to Jared Followill to -- seriously -- Gerard Butler this year, and it seems like she's had so much of the romantic drama that she just wants to move in with a great buddy. That's why she and Twilight co-star Kellan Lutz may be moving in together in Manhattan: "I was talking to Ashley about maybe sharing a place out here in New York," Lutz revealed this week.

Somewhat surprised? Well, these close-working co-stars are said to be homeys off camera, and the deal would be strictly platonic -- so much so, says Lutz, that he doesn't even anticipate that he and Greene would see much of each other inside their East Coast cozy: "We're never here at the same time but we both love New York. So we'd be rooommates without being roommates...more like housemates!"

So, lucky for us ladies, it doesn't sound like these two are mate-mates. Excited Lutz is still a free man? So are we...although nobody would be happier to see two Twilight stars apartment hunting than a New York City real estate agent.

And if we were Ashley Greene, we would totally never leave that apartment. Kellan Lutz in a towel hanging around the house? Keys, please.
