Kelly's Fighting Hard for Her Feet

Kelly Osbourne has revealed that she will be getting surgery on her feet, after having issues with painful bunions and flat-foot complications. Since I've been rooting for her DWTS domination, I have even more respect for her dancing so much on aching feet that need medical attention. What a trooper!

Apparently, all that dancing recently has irritated pre-existing conditions, making it necessary for Kelly Osbourne to finally get surgery. She explained:

"I have flat feet and somewhere in the 25 years of my life, I tore the cartilage in my bunions in both feet. They asked me to have surgery. I said no, I didn't want to have it because I believe if you start cutting things, you have a whole new set of problems and it wasn't that bad."

Here's where the dancing came into play. Kelly was in a lot of pain after her dance-intensive workouts and rehearsals, and the doctor let her know that she could have avoided this.

"Basically, my doctor said, ‘Told you so, told you so. You wouldn't be feeling this if you'd had the surgery.' So I'm going to have to have it after the show," she admitted.

Until she can have surgery, Kelly is using painkillers to work through the pain. That sounds like a dangerous thing to do, considering her past, but apparently the injections are the only thing that allow her to stay on her feet.

All this talk of injections, bunions, and foot surgery is making me feel ill, but I have to admit that I am very impressed with Kelly Osbourne's fight to stay on the show.
