Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen are Highest Paid
Who makes what?
Jack Bauer knows how to get things done. If there's a bomb that needs defusing or a terrorist that needs neutralizing, he's your man. And as it turns out, he gets compensated quite nicely for his efforts. Except for Two and a Half Men's Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland is the highest paid television actor in the U.S.
The report comes to us from TV Guide, which found that Mr. Sutherland makes a cool half-million for every episode of 24. That's a lot of buck for his bang.
Still, Carlos Irwin Estevez has him beat. Never heard of him, you say? That's because he likes to be called Charlie Sheen, and with $825,000 for every episode of Two and a Half Men, he can be called whatever he wants.
Rounding out the list of highest paid actors are House's Hugh Laurie and Law & Order: SVU tag team Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni. They each pull down $400,000 per episode.
