Kim Cattrall Loves Her Freedom
Dating, no SATC... she's free
Kim Cattrall might have gotten a healthy career boost, thanks to SATC, but she also had to deal with the red tape that goes along with a hit series and feature films. She says that she's happy to have gotten away from the drama.

"I'm having such a good time being footloose and fancy free and not having to check in and say, 'Is it OK if I do this or do that?'" she told E! Online. "There's no mom and pop standing over me. I enjoy that."
To top it off, she's happily dating, but she's not locked into anything. She's having a moment of freedom and savoring it!
"I'm dating, getting out there," Cattrall said. "It's scary but also it's exciting. It's both of those things. It's a tight rope, you know? It's feeling like you're 14 again, which you kind of like when you're 54."

I love that Kim is having a Renaissance moment. There's nothing nicer than coming into your own, moving out of the shadows of your past, and tossing caution to the wind when it comes to dating and your career. At 54, why wait for the "perfect moment"?
Some might fault Kim Cattrall for speaking negatively about SATC, but I don't think she did anything wrong. The pressures of a huge franchise shouldn't be downplayed, and Sex and the City was some great TV. I was watching an episode in the gym yesterday (Miranda's honeymoon in the woods), and it's still so funny.
