Say what you want about Kim Kardashian--at least she knows how to complement her frame, and she always looks flawless when she's out in public! We caught some tips from Kim after she went to Westfield's Culver City "Looks to Love" event in Culver City, California.

Kim, who was wearing a similar makeup look to what you see above, said that she's very careful about overdoing it when it comes to color. Even though she's obviously in love with lip gloss and faux eyelashes, she doesn't mess around with dark lips and smokey eyes worn together.

Kim said that she simply refuses to leave the house looking messy, and that it's a "one or the other situation" when she's thinking about smokey eyes and dark red lipstick. Are you in favor of Kim's beauty tip, or do you prefer to break the rules?

Considering the current trend, because Kim Kardashian will change her mind about her beauty rules soon! If someone could rock a darker lip and eye simultaneously, I think it would be her.
