In a clear sign that the apocolypse is neigh, Fox announced today that Kris Jenner, a.k.a., the woman behind the ubiquitous Kardashian sisters' never-ending exposure, is being given her very own talk show.
"Kris" will "bring a cool blast of fun and high energy," a statement released today said. The show will cover "a mix of lifestyle topics" and feature (D list) celebrity guests, fashion and beauty tips and round up the world of pop culture.
"[Jenner] is a dedicated mom and a successful business woman," said FOX exec Stephen Brown. "Whethering offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining and unscripted -- all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host."
But why isn't she content just to sit at home in her McMansion with her hardly recongnizable hubby and count all her cash? Jenner says that this has long been a wish. "This is sommething I have wanted to do all my life so it's definitely a dream come true! I can't wait for this new adventure to begin."
"Kris" will be on in syndication this summer during which time my television will be unplugged.
