Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard Not Marrying?

Just recently we wondered whether Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard had secretly gotten married, after Kristen referred to her fiance as her "husband." Quite the contrary, says Kristen Bell: not only have they not had a wedding, it looks like they won't have a wedding.

This is not to say, however, that Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard aren't going to marry one another. It's just that this down-to-earth couple doesn't feel the need to go all Hollywood with their wedding. Recently reporters asked Kristen Bell how the planning's going, and she replied, "We're just not having a wedding, so there's no story to report there." Huh? Bell explained: "I mean, we're still getting married, but we're going to do it whenever we feel like it."

We can dig that, totally. While a lot of Hollywood brides are busy tweeting photos of their engagement rings and dropping hints about their wedding gowns for the press to lap up, Kristen Bell says the only thing she needs people to know is how much she loves being with Dax. "The fact that he asked me to marry him is of a little more importance than me planning a party," Kristen said.

And why does the actress, 30, want to keep her relationship so sacred? Because her fiance is her confidante; her best friend who's always there for her. "He constantly keeps me laughing: when I'm sad, mad, frustrated, annoyed," Kristen Bell said. "Regardless of what it is he can lighten the mood."
