Kristen Bell Talks Health and Cheesecake
Kristen Talks to Health Magazine
Kristen Bell really opened up in her new interview in the January/February issue of Health magazine-- if you've ever wondered about what makes her feel good, what she thinks about Hollywood beauties, and how she stays happy, here are your answers.
After reading what she had to say, I found Kristen Bell funnier and more delightful than ever. Not only is she super cool, but she has a down-to-earth perspective on beauty and health, which is more than rare in her town.
On Her Toned 'Madonna Arms' and Female Crush: "I love Madonna arms. I think women who look strong are breathtaking. I [lift] buckets [for the shoulders]-the shoulder is the key to making your arm look really well-rounded...I do three sets of biceps and three sets of triceps, that's what works for me. My boyfriend doesn't love it [if I] get too muscular, but if I had my way, I would look like Angela Bassett."
On Never Depriving Herself: "I think you have to listen to your body. If you're eyeing the cheesecake, just have a little bit. Work on being satisfied with one bite and not blacking out and having the entire pie-which I've fully done before."
On Her Measurement of Health: "I never step on the scale, because I don't believe weight is a measure of health. I have too many girlfriends who've been curvy and voluptuous and healthy in every possible way to take any of that body bullsh*t seriously."
To that last one? I co-sign, completely. Do you own a scale anymore, or do you just go by how you feel?
