Kristen Stewart Criticized By Rape Crisis Group
Kristen Stewart's offensive words damaging her image.
Dear Kristen Stewart: please think before you speak. Stewart recently compared being famous to being raped, and now a rape intervention group is speaking out to say that Stewart used an inappropriate, "poor choice of words."
This is one of Kristen Stewart's worst soundbytes of all time, as she told Elle UK that the media are so intrusive that she feels as though they want to take everything from her. They pick up every little scrap," Stewart said, adding this: "What you don't see are the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre intrusive questions being asked, or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction ... The photos are so ... I feel like I'm looking at someone being raped [when I look at photos of myself]."
Kristen Stewart once played a young woman recovering from rape in a film that recently aired on Lifetime. Maybe a little more sensitivity to rape victims, KStew? Harriet Lessel, the executive director of the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault, feels the same as she told this to Radar: "Clearly that kind of violation is not the same as rape... it's just not the same," Lessel said. "I understand that Kristen Stewart was expressing that she feels violated. Sure violation is a form of sexual assault, but it's the most serious and the most personal. It's clearly a poor choice of words."
.
Yikes. There is a solution, eh, KStew? We quite enjoy you, but if you hate us that much, then just go away for awhile. Just sayin'. Meanwhile Stewart's Eclipse co-star and boyfriend Robert Pattinson continues to do nothing but please the press. Check out our gorgeous latest photos of Pattinson on the set of Water for Elephants.
