Let's face it, most people don't think of Kristen Stewart has an award-winning serious actress. Yes, tons of us absolutely love her for playing Bella in the Twilight movies. But she wants to be taken seriously here. Is that what she's starting to take on sexier roles?

Why does everyone seem to equate being taken seriously with being sexy? I mean, Miley Cyrus thinks the only way adults will respect her is if she starts sexing things up. When, in fact, probably quite the opposite is true. And now we're learning that Kristen Stewart may be taking on sexier roles, so we'll all take her seriously. Come on. Stop! It's just not necessary.

Life & Style got the opportunity to check out the script from Kristen Stewart's upcoming On the Road movie and they're saying it's quite scandalous! With everything from 3somes to explicit sex scenes, it sounds like quite the opposite that you see from Bella Swan.

So, why is she taking this role? A media expert tells Life & Style, "Many actors who are entering adulthood want to make their own mark and stop being seen as bubblegum, cookiecutter teen stars... Kristen likely wants to be taken more seriously as an actress - and show she's not afraid to break out of the mold."

We don't love it because we enjoy the fact that Kristen Stewart does her own thing and doesn't feel it necessary to conform to what she thinks society wants to see. But we guess it is a career and it can be tough in Hollywood.
