Kristen Stewart Naked and Lap Dancing

A change of roles

It looks like Kristen Stewart will soon be playing a role that strays far from the innocent Bella Swan of the Twilight movies. She just started promoting the upcoming movie in which she plays a lap dancer and prostitute.

What will all her fans think? We're really not sure, though we do understand Kristen Stewart wanting to stray from the role she'll be playing in (probably) four movies. That's likely why she signed on to play the teenage lap dancer, Mallory, in the upcoming movie Welcome to the Riley's.

And it's not just that Stewart will be performing innocent lap dances. She'll actually appear naked in many of the movie's scenes. Kristen says, "It's an independent movie that nobody would normally see and now it's like: 'Oh, let's go see Bella in this stripper movie; it'll be crazy!;" But we have a feeling many Bella fans won't even be able to get into the movie since it will likely be rated R.

Kristen Stewart is currently getting ready to promote the new movie, which she's starring in with The Sopranos James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo. She says of the filming experience, "Working with James Gandolfini and (co-star) Melissa Leo, who is just incredible, was the most fruitful life-changing experience on a movie that I've ever had. It was just the hardest subject matter I've ever had to deal with - I play a very broken young girl who is a runaway. She's a street kid. She's working in a strip club and James Gandolfini's character is just as dead inside as she is - and they wake each other up."

Stewart actually had to film nude scenes with Gandolfini and it's been said she had to fly in Twilight co-star Nikki Reed for support since she was so nervous.
