Kristen Stewart in 'The Yellow Hankerchief': Video
Bella with a Southern drawl?
Last week we got to see the trailer of Kristen Stewart's upcoming movie The Runaways. And now we have access to a few clips from The Yellow Hankerchief, a totally different role from both Twilight and The Runaways.
What do you think about seeing Kristen Stewart in bed with a guy other than Robert Pattinson? I say good for her! It's about time she lets the world see that she's not just Bella Swan and that she can play a variety of different roles.
In this role in The Yellow Hankerchief, Kristen dons a Southern accent. She plays Martine, a troubled teenager who's trying to escape her family. No, not because she met a hot vampire and wants to turn into one herself. Ahem. Anyway, she sets off on a journey with two strangers. Also starring in the film are William Hurt and Eddie Redmayne. They seem to be fairly unknown stars and I wonder if this movie will help launch them into fame.
The Yellow Hankerchief opens in theaters on February 12, 2010. Will you catch it? What do you think of Kristen's new accent? Kristen Stewart does still look as though she's pretty melancholy, much like in the Twilight movies. I'd love to see her in a happy, upbeat role at some point!
