Is she channeling Lauren Conrad?

The Hills may be over, but Kristin Cavallari isn't planning on disappearing from our lives just yet. And it looks like she's taking a page from Lauren Conrad's book in order to stay relevant. Not only is she going into clothing design, but she's even dressing a bit like Lauren. We can't blame her though-- She looks fabulous!

We've certainly had our moments with Kristin Cavallari. But at last night's ShoeDazzle design session, Kristin was looking like the perfect California girl (Katy Perry would be proud!). Kristin designed a super cute new pair of shoes. And she looked beautiful doing it.

One of our favorite things about Kristin Cavallari is that her beauty often looks so effortless. Her outfit wasn't very exciting last night, but she looked absolutely fabulous. And a bit like Lauren Conrad, we believe. Kristin was wearing a simple pale purple silk tank top with a ruffle down the middle along with a pair of light-colored jeans. An outfit we could most definitely see LC wearing (though her jeans would likely be darker).

Kristin kept her accessories simple, with just a gold watch. We're pretty sure Lauren would have worn some type of long, multi-strand necklace. We love that Kristin didn't go overboard with her fashion; she was there to design a pair of shoes for charity, after all.

From what we can see, we love the look of Kristin's bright turquoise shoe! She designed it for ShoeDazzle, the charity co-founded by Kim Kardashian. Kristin's shoe are set to go on sale in the summer of 2011. If they help us look as good as she does, we'll be all over them!
