Kristin Davis Says No to 'SATC' Prequel
I don't blame her.
Kristin Davis played Charlotte long enough on Sex and the City that she's pretty attached to her character. Do you blame her? She's not enthusiastic about an SATC prequel, because there would be another actress playing her part.

Sarah Jessica Parker had previously said that she was interested in exploring a third SATC film, but I think she's the only one. Would you watch an SATC prequel? The second film killed me. Not touching it.
"Not so into the prequel movie," Kristin Davis said about the prequel.
"Because we're us and we've discussed our history in the show already so for all of our fervent fans who listen to what we say, why would we rewrite that? And then have like different people with our names? It's kind of freaky."

"I don't think we can pretend to go back. It's creating two histories," Parker told the Los Angeles Times about the prequel idea, but she does think a third film could work. "I think there's one more story to tell. I know there is."
Erm, as long as they make it better than the second one. I hated all the jokes in it and it just sucked in general. Even the fashion was worse. Sigh.
