Kristin Davis is Protective of Taylor Lautner
Why is his shirt off again?
We probably don't connect Sex and the City's Kristin Davis with Twilight's Taylor Lautner very often. But the two actually worked together years ago. And now Kristin is claiming that she feels a bit protective of Taylor.
It must be crazy to work in Hollywood and to see the kids you work with grow up so quickly. One minute they're performing in a kid's movie, the next minute they're taking their shirts off. Not that Twilight is a very racy movie, but clearly Kristin Davis is a bit shocked to see how quickly Taylor Lautner grew up. And probably how good looking he got as well.
After all, Kristin Davis worked with Taylor Lautner in 2005's kid's movie, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D. And now she's feeling a bit protective of him. It's may have only been 4 years since they filmed the movie, but Taylor's grown from age 13 to age 17, which is a huge difference.
Kristin says Taylor Lautner was a joy to work with at the time of their filming: "He's a great kid and he works really, really, really hard and he had a great professional ethic when I worked with him... [He was] nothing of those negative things that you think of with child actors. So for anyone to be succeeding, I'm happy for him."
But it's still super strange for her to be seeing Taylor as a teen heartthrob with no shirt on. She says, "I feel protective, like what is he doing without his shirt on?... And then I hear he's dating people and I'm like, ‘Ahh!'"
And Kristin hasn't even seen Twilight yet (last person on Earth?), though she's planning on it: "I want to see it. I'm behind. I'll just need to do deep breathing. You know, they grow up so fast... But I'm really happy for him, and he is adorable."
We agree with that. We bet Kristin is feeling a bit old by watching Taylor, but we think it's just that kids grow up so quickly. Kristin Davis is lucky she got to work with him before all the fame began!
