Dallas Announced His Engagement on Twitter

Former teen heartthrob Matt Dallas, star of the cult sci-fi hit "Kyle X/Y" has revealed that engaged to be married -- to another man.

Dallas, who's 30 and from Phoenix, Ariz., took to Twitter today to announce his announcement to his longtime boyfriend. The proclamation came as a shock to many fans since he's never spoken publicly about his sexual preferences.

"Starting off the year with a new fiance, @bluehamilton. A great way to kick off 2013!" the actor Tweeted.

Blue Hamilton, for the uninitiated, is a 25 year-old music producer who last year was named Atlanta's Hottest New Producer.  He's also a music writer with Justin Bieber's "All I Want Is You" and "Born to Be Somebody" among his credits.
