Kate Moenning Will Be Back on Showtime

Kate Moenning, whose seamless portrayal of lady killer Shane on the cult favorite The L Word, had many a heterosexual woman questioning her sexual orientation, has been tapped to join the cast of another Showtime original series.

According to TVLine.com, Moenning (Gwyneth Paltrow's cousin) has joined the cast of the cable network's Ray Donovan pilot.

The private detective series, a vehicle for Liev Schreiber, is said to provide a "novelistic look at contemporary Los Angeles" and Moenning will play Lena, Schreiber's "edgy and intense second in command."

Other cast members; Jon Voight, Elliott Gould and Dash Mihok. Production is set to begin later this month in Los Angeles.
