LAPD Announces Chris Brown Investigation Complete

Peace? What a contradiction.

Trial, but no jail time. WTF.

Right about now, Chris Brown should be pretty scared. Pretty scared, because in one day, this once R&B king will be sitting in front of a judge awaiting his fate. Instead, he's probably sunning himself alongside Rihanna, kicking back and drinking Pina Coladas in L.A. What is the world coming to?

But at least the law is in their right mind. A spokesperson for the LAPD announced yesterday that they've completed their investigation into the pre-Grammy assault and that the District Attorney now has the case.

And although rumors are swirling that the young stars will be spared the humiliation (isn't it little late for that) of an honest-to-goodness trial, Chris will no doubt plead no contest to misdemeanor domestic battery and continue to attend anger management classes.
