Gaga's got it

We were a little bit worried about Lady Gaga for a minute after she canceled her tour with Kanye West. But now she's going solo and had an amazing night on Saturday Night Live, so it seems like she's absolutely fine. And though we only heard a snippet of her new song, Bad Romance, but we like it already.

You know when you saw her wearing giant glass orbits around her, that Lady Gaga was doing just fine. It would have been if we saw her wearing anything "normal," that we would have been worried. But all seems well in Lady Gaga land.

We thought Lady Gaga was going to debut her new song, "Bad Romance," on SNL, but instead she sang a medley of her singles, with some "Bad Romance" thrown in. She sang it while at the piano, which basically means we still have no idea what the final project will sound like. Just listen to "Poker Face," which she blended "Bad Romance" into to see what we mean. Just because she's singing something acoustic by the piano, doesn't necessarily mean the radio-ready version will sound like this.

But we are actually really excited to hear the radio-ready version of "Bad Romance" now because we liked the snippet we heard. It's more "story-like" than typical Lady Gaga: "Born in New York, in Lenox Hill of '86/Cheered for the Yankees with my dad in Section 6/And after traveling, just dancing round the world/I still prefer a beer and whiskey with my friends on Rivington street."

This performance will definitely go down in Saturday Night Live history, but we didn't really expect much less from Lady Gaga. Oh, and if you heard the "Bad Romance" leak on the Internet, Lady Gaga says to ignore it. On her Twitter the other day, she said, "Leaked next single is makin my ears bleed. Wait till you hear the real version."

And now we really can't wait!
