What's everyone talking about when it comes to fashion this year? Well, Lady Gaga, of course! The Global Language Monitor compiled a list of the top fashion buzzwords of Spring 2010 and she topped the list. Are you really surprised?

According to the Global Language Monitor's website, it "documents, analyzes and tracks trends in language the world over, with a particular emphasis upon Global English." And when compiling a list of the top fashion buzzwords of Spring 2010, Lady Gaga topped the list. It is the first time a name has been at the top of the GLM's rankings.

The Director and Fashion Correspondent of GLM says, "The relationship between Stefani Germanotta, the girl from Yonkers, and haute couture may not be intuitively obvious, until you realize that Stefani would soon grow into one Lady GaGa... The fact remains that the world of fashion has been duly impacted by her in ways some subtle and some rather profound."
