Lady Gaga to Tour Without Kanye West
The show must go on.
All is not lost for fans of Lady Gaga. The "Poker Face" singer may have recently confirmed that her tour with Kanye West has been cancelled, but that doesn't mean she can't strike it out on her own.
In an interview with Billboard today, Gaga said that she intends to head out on tour soon, without her show-stealing colleague.
"It was a mutual decision," Gaga told Billboard today. "Kanye’s going to take some time off. But the good news is that I’m going on tour in a few weeks."
There's no word yet as to when Gaga's tour will start, or if any other pop star has the cajones to step into the ring with her (Adam Lambert, anyone? eh? eh?), but it definitely looks like she is eager to hit the road and see her fans.
Kanye, on the other hand, is staying quiet about the whole ordeal. The 32 year-old rapper and entertainer has been on a swift downward spiral ever since infamously snatching the mic from Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.
Hopefully he takes the time to get his head straight. The world could use a break from Kanye West.
