Lauren Conrad Admits The Hills is Fake. And Spencer Pratt Lies
Shocking news breaks
In case you haven't figured it out yet, The Hills is not real! And in related news, Spencer Pratt is a liar. On her visit with the ladies of The View, Lauren Conrad admits that parts of the show are definitely staged.
On her visit to The View to promote her new book yesterday, the ladies asked Lauren Conrad how she felt about Spencer's apology to her for spreading rumors of a sex tape. Lauren's answer? She said, "To be perfectly honest, I wasn't on the other end of that call... That was filmed and I wasn't on the other end."
Meaning Spencer was made to look like he was on the phone with Lauren apologizing to her when really there was nobody on the other line. He was allegedly apologizing so Lauren would attend he and Heidi Montag's wedding. Although she didn't get the apology, she went to the wedding anyway.
Are you shocked? Of course you're not. We've known all along The Hills was partly scripted; it just seems crazy to hear it straight from the main character of the series.
Now that Lauren's off the show, she probably doesn't care how much the public knows. We wonder what kind of agreements she signed about keeping the show's secrets quiet. We also wonder whose idea it was to pretend to apologize. The show's producers? Or Spencer Pratt himself? We're going with the latter.
