LeAnn Rimes Still In Touch With Soon-To-Be Ex

We still talk, says Dean Sheremet.

Dean Sheremet reports he and wife LeAnn Rimes still talk often.

It was just weeks ago when Dean Sheremet, 28, gave a teary appearance to reporters, calling his split from cheating LeAnn Rimes "surreal." LeAnn, 27, had an affair with Northern Lights co-star Eddie Cibrian, 36, and the ordeal ruined their two marriages and left Cibrian's wife Brandi Glanville a single mom to their two young sons.

These days it seems Dean Sheremet is doing considerably better. Now a student at the French Culinary Institute in New York City, Sheremet was recently spotted walking his dog in the park. When a reporter asked him how he's doing, he said he's faring fine. He also said he and LeAnn are still in contact.

He doesn't appear to be holding a grudge against LeAnn's new lover Cibrian, as Sheremet called him "a good friend" and said that Cibrian's wife Brandi Glanville is also a fantastic woman. In September it was reported that Sheremet and Glanville had reached out to act as sources of support to one another.

No word on when Dean Sheremet's divorce from LeAnn Rimes will be final, but they announced their official decision to end their marriage last summer.
