LeAnn Rimes Tweets From Rehab and Leaves To Perform. Is This Really A Good Idea?
Troubled Singer Seems To Be Getting Special Treatment
Normally, the idea behind going to rehab is to take some time away from the real world to focus on yourself. And usually, that mean no phones, no Internet and no leaving. But the unnamed treatment facility that LeAnn Rimes is currently staying at is making major exceptions for her and has us wondering one thing: Why?
To recap, Rimes checked herself into rehab on August 29th to deal with stress and anxiety brought on by several things - including fighting with people who had negative things to say about her on Twitter. (Other reasons reportedly include unresolved issues with her parents and fear that her husband, Eddie Cibrian, may be cheating.) Yet Rimes has been allowed to keep her phone while in treatment and has even been tweeting! That helps her how exactly?

She also left the facility this weekend to perform a number of prescheduled gigs. While on stage, she didn't sound like she was in the best place, emotionally. "I'm pissed off at a lot of things," she told the audience before debuting a new song called "Spitfire." The lyrics: "You make me want to spit fire."
Listen, we know performing is a big part of LeAnn's life. But right now, it sounds like what she needs is to hunker down and really take some time off...and time away from social media. We hope eventually she gets that.
