Warner Bros.' Lego movie, called Lego: The Piece of Resistance, will blend live-action and Lego-based animation.
So far, casting is shaping up nicely.

The studio has cast Chris Pratt as the voice of the lead character, Emmet, with Will Arnett set to play Lego Batman (nice!), Variety reports.
Emmet is described as "an ordinary, law-abiding, Lego mini-figure who is mistaken for the most extraordinary MasterBuilder." He is drafted to "stop an evil tyrant from gluing the universe together," so it sounds like a fun and action-driven plot.
Channing Tatum has reportedly been approached to voice Superman, though it's unclear if he'll take the role.
There's been no commitment on his end, as he's hotter than the sun right now and his schedule is likely pretty tied up.

The Lego movie is scheduled for release on February 28, 2014.
