Leonardo DiCaprio's Star-studded Birthday Party Raises Money for Charity
Leonardo DiCaprio didn't ring in his 38th birthday with a party where he was the focus of attention. Instead, DiCaprio threw a big party where the focus was on charity.
DiCaprio's birthday bash included plenty of A-listers at The Darby in NYC, including Robert De Niro, Cameron Diaz, Jay-Z and Beyonce.

Other guests included Chris Rock, Miranda Kerr, Emma Watson, Mark Ruffalo, Martin Scorsese, Edward Norton, Jonah Hill, Jamie Foxx, Swizz Beatz, Busta Rhymes, Kevin Connelly, Russell Simmons, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Ethan Suplee and Lukas Haas.
Impressive guest list, Mr. DiCaprio.
The deejay at the event, Lino Meoli, told Confidential (via NY Daily News), "Things got pretty crazy," adding, "Leo was on the mic beat-boxing to 2 Chainz and had all his buddies up [on] stage."
Now that would've been cool to see.
But alas, every guest attending the soiree had to check their phone at the door.

DiCaprio's celebration was a great way to raise money for the Red Cross' Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. In all, he raised $500,000 for the organization.
His heart will go on and on.
