Liev Schreiber Headed For Broadway
Dark and mysterious Liev Schreiber will take on some serious drama when he appears in an upcoming Broadway production of an Arthur Miller play. Schreiber, who lives in New York, will appear in a revival production of A View From the Bridge.
The play, first staged in 1955, will be directed by Gregory Mosher and open on Broadway in the spring. Schreiber will play the leading role of Eddie Carbone, an Italian-American dock worker who is secretly in love with his niece. A View From the Bridge last came to life on Broadway in 1997, and starred Anthony LaPaglia. Schreiber's last Broadway play was Glengarry Glen Ross by David Mamet, which ran in 2005.
