Lily Allen Wants Kids Next Year

Lily Allen might still be posing for magazines and performing at concerts, but she's one celebrity who has tried her hardest to stay out of the game as much as she can-mentally, at least. How may times have we read about Lily's urge to escape the city? She continues lamenting in UK's Glamour mag.

Lily admitted that she wants to have children soon, and she's clearly still plotting her escape from the rat race.

"I plan to have children in the next year," Lily told Glamour, explaining that she's trying to up her vitamin intake and get healthier with a better diet. Her career? She is putting it on hold.

"The only way to make money is to tour - and I'm not willing to do that with babies around. A part of the way I became who I became was because I was subjected to a certain lifestyle from an early age. My parents hung out with famous people, but we didn't ­necessarily reap the same ­financial benefits. So there was a part of me thinking, ‘I wanna be like those people.' And once I'd achieved it, it didn't make me happy," Lily explained.

"So I don't want to put my kids in that position. I'd rather set up businesses, put a roof over our heads, then move to the country to shelter them for a bit," Lily explained.

Lily said that she is a "homemaker," and loves sticking to her schedule with her boyfriend, Sam. She's home at six, she makes dinner, and then she watches TV before she goes to bed, she said.

"People say, ‘God, you're so lame, you've got to live your life,' and I'm like, ‘I've done going out and getting drunk. I've met someone I ­really, really like. We're really happy together. Why would I even think about not being with him?'" Lily said.
