"Lincoln" Leads Pack of Golden Globe Nominations [FULL LIST]

Steven Spielberg Should Start Clearing Some Space on His Mantle

The nominees for the 2012 Golden Globe awards were announced this morning and Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln" leads the pack with 7 nominations. (Among them Best Drama, Best Director, Best Actor for Daniel Day Lewis and Best Screenplay.)

The Ben Affleck directed/starrer "Argo" and the Quentin Tarantino directed, Leonardo di Caprio starrer "Django Unchained" came in a close second with 5 nods apiece.

On the TV side of the nominations, "Homeland" will defend its throne against "Boardwalk Empire," "Breaking Bad," "Downton Abbey" and "The Newsroom" in the drama category while "The Big Bang Theory," "Episodes," "Girls," "Modern Family" and "Smash" will face off in the best television comedy race.
