Lindsay Lohan Banned From L.A. Hotel Over Unpaid Bill Totalling $46,350.04
Chateau Marmont Says She Can't Come Back 'Til She Pays Up
Here's the only surprising thing about the fact that Lindsay Lohan has been banned from Chateau Marmont - the exclusive LA Hotel she often calls home - over a bill she owes totaling nearly $50,000: how on earth she was ever granted that kind of credit.
Given Lohan's adversity to paying for things (she was convicted of theft, after all) plus her well-reported financial straits, we're shocked the hotel agreed to host her in the first place without at least securing some kind of hefty deposit. And why the heck didn't someone at Chateau intervene when they saw her bill was climbing past...oh I don't know...$15,000?
TMZ obtained the letter sent to Lohan by the general manager as well as an itemized copy of her bill. It shows Lindsay was not only snacking well, with her mini-bar charges totaling $3,145, she was smoking like a fiend. According to the bill, she purchased 49 packs of cigarettes during her 47-day stay at $14 a pop that totaled out at $686. Oh, and she also made off with a candle from her suite which apparently costs $100.

No comment so far from Team Lohan, but safe to say this isn't going to register too high on their to-do list. Even though she won't be charged for the alleged theft of jewelry, silverware and designer sunglasses from a friend's house, police are reportedly after her for lying to cops in the wake of her June car accident.
Oh Lindsay, you stay classy, girl!
