Katy Perry is hoping she'll do it live.

We would like to apologize in advance because after you finish reading this, you will undoubtedly have Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" stuck in your head. Sorry.

Remember way back in 2003 when Madonna kissed Britney Spears at the VMAs? (Please, how could you forget?) Well, it looks like Katy Perry and MTV are looking to relive that moment in honor of her hit (code for annoyingly addictive) song, "I Kissed a Girl."

Katy's not looking to kiss just any girl. Ms. Perry is hoping Lindsay "Leggings" Lohan will be her partner in crime.

So when is all this kissing madness supposed to go down? Look no further than the VMAs on MTV on September 7.

Our hope is that Loho wants nothing to do with this. Because we get it; Lindsay kisses girls now. But not in a make-out-with-your-friend-at-a-frat party-for-attention kind of way.

Let's move on, mmkay?
