Lindsay Lohan To Return to Jail This Week

Lindsay Lohan's really effed up this time. After testing positive for cocaine and amphetamines late last week, Lohan will face a judge Friday -- and the judge is said to be fuming. Lohan's about to have her probation revoked...and the judge is likely to throw her back in the slammer.

Report: Lindsay Lohan Fails Drug Test

HuffingtonPost.com had the story via Radar -- a source explained:

"Lindsay could be remanded directly into custody on Friday, pending the probation violation hearing, and it's very likely that Judge Fox will do that ... Lindsay was allowed to remain out on bail last time until her probation violation hearing, but Judge Fox probably won't give her that privilege because of her failed drug test, and this is her second probation violation hearing in less than three months."

And get this: Lohan could receive a sentence of at least 30 days for each drug violation...totaling two mega-months in jail. Insiders suggest that prison overcrowding will keep Lohan from serving the full sentence, but more jailtime is probably the last thing fragile Lindsay can handle.

In a statement after failing her drug tests, Lohan tweeted:

"Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result. Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future. This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences. I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful....Thank you all!!!" [sic]
