Lindsay Lohan's Dad: God is Punishing Her

In the latest mud-fling in the Lindsay Lohan vs. Daddy Lohan smackdown, Michael has taken the war of words to a whole new level. According to the model of fatherhood, not only is he disappointed with his daughter's lifestyle, but so is God.

The ruckus started when Michael Lohan started releasing recorded conversations of his family, including one of Lindsay sobbing to him and another of her mom, his ex-wife Dina, talking about trying to get Lindsay into rehab.

After the release of this second one, Lindsay went to her Twitter page to tell dad off, saying that he's a "loser" and that he used to threaten her mother if she ever though about leaving him.

Now, in an interview with the New York Post yesterday, Michael Lohan is saying Lindsay is full of it.

"That's a lie," he says. "I guess Lindsay is on more drugs than I thought to say something like that...No wonder why God is taking her entire career away from her. Because she's forsaken everything He's given her and she's done nothing but misuse all the gifts she's given."

So for now the fight continues, with neither side appearing to back down. Let's just hope they wear themselves out before their family values rub off on the rest of us.
