Lisa Ling Makes Fun of Oprah's Kardashians Interview

If you chuckled when Oprah sat down to interview the Kardashians, you weren't the only one.

TV journalist Lisa Ling has something to say about the Oprah sit-down as well, slamming the talk show veteran for her choice of interviewing the insipid reality family.

Ling told Access Hollywood Live, "I have my issues with the Kardashians, absolutely, and I think there's so much that's wrong about how they are the most, sort of, revered family in the country."

She added, "I get why Oprah wanted to interview them... They are icons in pop culture. For some reason people are interested in what they think about things. For some strange reason."

It's unexplainable, really, the fascination people have with all things Kardashian, but you have to imagine Winfrey did it for the sake of ratings, above all.

Ling is taking a seemingly higher road, working on her series Our America, which airs on Winfrey's OWN network.
