Diceman, Louis CK to Star in Woody Allen Movie

From the "interesting casting news" files comes this little gem: Louis CK and Andrew Dice Clay are joining the cast of a new Woody Allen film.

There's a little bit of a head scratcher in the mix here -- and his name is Dice Clay.

It's not like when you think of acting chops, you automatically picture the Diceman, unless of course, you loved his work as the bouncer in Pretty In Pink.

Okay, I kind of did.

While Clay doesn't have that many acting credits on his resume, there may be a big comeback opportunity here.

Louis C.K., I get. He's brilliant and hilarious and I'm eager to see what he'll bring to the Woody Allen film, which also stars Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin, Bobby Cannavale, Peter Sarsgaard, Michael Emerson and Sally Hawkins.

Clay? I'm not so sure about him yet.

There have been no details released about the new Allen project, other than the cast, though it's set to begin filming this summer in New York and San Francisco, USA Today reports.

Clay tweeted a teaser about his upcoming role last week, writing: "Got some BIG news comin out later this week ... I think all a yous will like it."

We last saw the Diceman for a very short time on Celebrity Apprentice. He also appeared on Entourage and Raising Hope, playing himself.

Let's see what the Diceman brings to the new Woody Allen flick.
