Labrador Stays By Pal's Side

Dogs may be man's best friend, but, judging by this incredible video, they're also pretty caring of each other.

The yellow lab was struck by a car on a busy Los Angeles area street and his friend the black lab in the video "tried to stay and protect" her fallen mate.

Officials arrived on the scene and took the black lab, whom they've since named Grace, to a local shelter.
