Luke Perry, Jason Priestley Reunite For Western Movie
Cowboys are our weakness...
An onscreen pair that never should have separated are teaming back up. Beverly Hills 90210 alumni Luke Perry and Jason Priestley are working together again! Here are details on Goodnight for Justice, the Luke Perry-produced flick that brought these babes back together.
They're a little bit older and a little bit wiser, but could they be much hotter? We're going to find out! The Hallmark Channel has offered a deal to Luke Perry for Goodnight for Justice, which Us describes as being "about a small boy in the American Old West who witnesses the violent murder of his parents. He grows up to become a circuit judge who is 'hell-bent on justice,' according to the network."
The whole crew sounds psyched to be working with Luke Perry and Jason Priestley, with exec producer of eOne Productions Ira Pincus quoted saying, "We are thrilled to be bringing this exciting Western to life for Hallmark Movie Channel ... Luke has been a great partner from scratch, extremely passionate about this film, and Jason brings a seasoned perspective to the project."
Seasoned? Well, it's true. Luke Perry is actually 45 years old these days, and Jason Priestley's 40! Luke Perry has stated this about his primetime acting career, which stared when he was 24, playing 16-year-old Dylan McKay: "I'm going to be linked with him until I die, but that's actually just fine. I created Dylan McKay. He's mine." Perry's also been quoted saying that while he enjoys working with his former castmates, he has no interest in bringing Dylan McKay back to life: "When you're in the professional acting business," Perry once said, "you have to look into all these offers and I don't mean anything bad about it but creatively it's something I have done before and I don't know how it will benefit me if I do it again."
