M&Ms, Pepsi, Oreos and 22 Other Foods That're Discontinued [SLIDESHOW]

Remember Crispy M&Ms? Notice you haven't seen them in a while? That's because they went to that big junk food graveyard in the sky back in 2005, when Mars Inc. discontinued the M&Ms variety in the United States.

And the crispy chocolate treats are just one of the 25 discontinued favorites Buzzfeed.com has compiled for its list of "25 Foods You'll Never Be Able to Eat Again," a list that's a fun -- and sad -- trip down salty and sweet treat memory lane.

Among the other gone, but not forgotten, treats on Buzzfeed's list:

-- Pepsi Blue (discontinued in 2004) and Crystal Pepsi, the creepy, but cool clear cola that was axed from the Pepsi lineup in 1993;

-- Butterfinger BB's -- we didn't love 'em … the chocolate-to-peanut butter crunch filling ratio was off for us. But the little Butterfinger pellets did have plenty of fans, just not enough to save them from being discontinued back in 2006;

-- Sprite Remix -- Tropical and Berryclear were among the varieties of this flavored Sprite, which left store shelves permanently in 2005;

-- Keebler Magic Middles -- tasty shortbread-y cookies with chocolate filling in the middle … delicious. Sadly, this '80s cookie bit the dust in the '90s;

-- 3D Doritos -- gone (in the mid 2000s) and mayebe were forgotten, as the airy, puffy versions of Doritos lacked the flavor punch of regular Doritos;

-- Oreo O's -- yummy, Oreo-flavored O cereal rings with white sprinkles … sadly, they were discontinued in 2007 when Post cereals and Kraft ended their co-branding of the product;

-- PB Max -- another Mars casualty, the peanut butter/oatmeal/cookie/chocolate candy bar bit the dust because -- according to a former Mars exec -- the Mars family didn't like peanut butter (even though the Max brought in $50 million in sales!);

-- Heinz EZ Squirt -- remember, the purple ketchup that sounded like a cool idea, but looked like -- as Buzzfeed puts it -- barf? Yep, the Heinz folks put it out of its misery in 2006.
