Madonna Faints On Bulgaria Stage

Madonna, 51, appeared to faint while on stage in Bulgaria, video footage shows. The singer careened backwards as if fainting onto a dancer who pushed her back to her upright position during a performance of Holiday.

Madonna then snapped awake and appeared to tell the dancer she was all right before continuing with her number. But she was said to collapse as she left the Sofia stage during Spanish Lesson, passing out and falling over. A source said: "Madge was really worried backstage. She had to sit down for a longer break than usual between songs. She refused to end the show or take a break after the Holiday dizzy spell. It turns out she's suffering from exhaustion. She is anaemic." The source added: "She was advised to postpone the last two shows in Israel for a few days, but logistics and stubborness stopped her. She'll do them then take some rest."
