Shoes really are better?

Maybe that survey we talked about the other day has some merit after all. I thought it was completely crazy that girls would prefer shoes to men. But now Madonna says she prefers shoes to sex (and some people consider sex the best part of men)! Could this be true?

But wait! This time it's a shoe designer speaking these words! According to Jimmy Choo, Madonna prefers shoes to sex. And not just any shoes, but Jimmy Choo shoes, of course. Is this whole shoes are better than sex/men thing supposed to raise sales on shoes?

According to Jimmy Choo, "Madonna told me that buying a pair of my shoes is more satisfying than having sex with a man... At least you know they are going to last for ever!" I suppose it's true that Jimmy Choos do last pretty much forever, but do you still think they're better than sex? OK, I guess I'd rather have a pair of Choos over one night of sex; maybe Madonna is simply talking about one night stands?

Are women just really bored with their men lately? Not to mention, materialistic? We are in a recession after all. Maybe we're realizing we can have sex any time, but Jimmy Choos? Well, we need to have money for those. What do you think?
