Is Madonna looking to recreate her kiss with Britney Spears?

It's a good conversation starter, anyway.

Madonna is back at the top of her game again, but I suppose digging up some nostalgia over a shocking lesbian kiss is good for selling a few more albums.

Madge, new to Twitter to push her MDNA record, struck up a conversation with Spears, who said: "love the new album -- every single song is incredible. congrats girl!"

Instead of a straight up thanks, Madonna replied: "please come on stage and kiss me again. I miss you!!,"

Spears' tweet was a little less spicy than Madonna hoped for, as Brit responded: "Tempting...," and Madonna purred, "Are you gonna make me work for this?"

At least, in my mind, she purred.

Will Madonna and Britney ever kiss on stage again?

Likely not, as Madge told Nightline earlier this year: "Nice moment, good kisser, cool," but as for a repeat: "No, I already did it. I don't like to repeat myself."

Maybe she could do something racy with some other new hot pop star?

Madonna also shared some tweets with fellow celebrities:

Lionel Richie wrote: What's going on with family? Can you believe we are sitting on the top of the charts together again?"

She tweeted back: "congrats on a successful record. To the other ritchie in my life...."

Katy Perry tweeted: "which evolution of you in your career has been your favorite/ most fulfilling, besides the present?"
