'Magic Mike' Musical, Reviews, and Channing Tatum on Jimmy Fallon

It's Magic Mike day and the reviews are in -- it's fantastic!

And not just in a hot-guys-stripping-their-clothes-off way, it appears that Magic Mike has a decent plotline and good performances as well.

Metacritic has given Magic Mike a Metascore of 71 out of 100, based on 30 reviews and it scores 82% on RottenTomatoes.com's Tomatometer.

And if all of that g-string action on the big screen isn't enough for you, take note that a Magic Mike Broadway musical is set to hit the stage in summer 2013.

Steven Soderbergh and Channing Tatum will produce the musical, though Tatum told the Today show earlier this week, it's likely he won't do much in it since he's not much of a singer.

(Note to Tatum ... no one's going to the show to hear you sing, darling.)

He shared his excitement over the project, however, telling USA Today: "I'm almost more excited about that than the movie because I think it's the perfect thing for women to go see on Broadway, to be participants in the show."

Wait ... participants? Is it getting hot in here?

Magic Mike co-star Alex Pettyfer, however, is more than happy to strip in the musical, saying, "I think we should all do the opening night."

Joe Manganiello seems to be game as well, telling the New York Post, "If the girls ... rip Matthew McConaughey's thong off [in the movie], I don't know what the Broadway audience would do ... you'd have to have understudies for all of us because we'd have claw marks."

Now for a look at Tatum as you've never seen him ... in a dress!

Tatum appeared on the latest installment of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon's "Ew!" about teenage girls who respond "Ew!" to everything. Definitely worth a look to see Tatum channel his female side.
