Manolo Blahnik to Collaborate with Tous Jewelry

You love Manoli Blahnik for their amazing shoes, right? But soon you could be loving them for their jewelry, too. Because Manolo Blahnik is teaming up with Spanish jewelry brand Tous. Could this be the start of something beautiful?

So far it sounds like there's only one necklace being designed for the Manolo Blahnik/Tous collaboration, but a) it's a good one and b) like I said already, this could just be the start! For now, Tous is creating a necklace out of Manolo Blahnik's iconic Campari shoe. So, you can wear a pair on your feet and a shoe on your neck. Swoon!

Allegedly Blahnik met up with Tous in Madrid last summer where Tous told Blahnik she was interested in designing some jewelry with him. Of course, Manolo Blahnik suggested the Campari shoe! The shoe charm will hang from a gold chain with a diamond button. Sounds adorable!

And Manolo Blahnik himself is super excited about the collaboration. He says in a statement, "I love TOUS because I feel we have many things in common. We are family-run businesses, we share Spanish roots and we are both keen on surprising and innovating."

And, of course, Tous is incredibly happy to be turning the Campari shoe into a necklace and she says, "I am delighted with the agreement. Manolo Blahnik shoes are beautiful and an amazing mix between trends and classicism."

The shoe necklace will be launching in 300 Tous boutiques all over the world, starting in Mexico and then heading to the U.S. at the Rockefeller Center in Manhattan. Are you excited you'll soon be able to wear your favorite shoe around your neck?
