Marc Jacobs Shows His Cheap(er) Side
On your Marc, get set, go!
Marc Jacobs showed his Spring 2009 collection, and it was stunning. We think it was more akin to couture than ready-to-wear, and left nothing to be desired.
Because of his impressive showing we were curious to see what he'd done with his lower price-point line, Marc by Marc, and magically we saw the connection. Marc by Marc is more wearble and wallet-friendly, but it was quite obviously the brain child of the same talented designer.
The clothes were mix-and-match with a healthy dose of collegiate bohemian style. Picture the hip girl in your philosophy seminar who knew how to pair a prairie skirt with leather, and not look like she works at the Cowgirl Creamery.
Something about wearing Marc makes us feel like the cool girl, and Marc's done all the work for us. We love that.
