Maria Shriver Smiles, Tweets Over Memorial Day

We reported over the weekend that Maria Shriver was snapped late last week lunching with Bono, and it seems like the bonding did Maria some serious good. Looking toned and tanned this weekend, Maria was seen dining on sushi with her kids while we followed her as Shriver honored Memorial Day on Twitter.
This weekend Arnold Schwarzenegger was seen in Malibu on his motorcycle, but clearly Schwarzenegger's riding solo these days. This weekend his children accompanied their mother, Maria Shriver, out for a sushi dinner -- also in Malibu -- and word has it everyone was at ease flashing big smiles around the table (while 17-year-old Patrick Schwarzenegger is said to have missed dinner with his mom and sibs in favor of a weekend celebration with friends). Looking especially radiant? Maria, who hit the salon Thursday for this volume-packed blowout and sophisticated shirtdress...minus her wedding band.

The Schwarzenegger kids seem to be showing their mom their loyalty in the midst of her estrangement from Arnold Schwarzenegger, and it may be no wonder why: Maria Shriver is a woman of distinct morals who's stayed consistent on Twitter over the last three weeks, despite the scrutiny that the Schwarzenegger love child scandal has brought on her. On Monday, Shriver tweeted to her 809,000 followers what Memorial Day means to her:
"This weekend, I'm thinking of all who gave their life, and all the families who lost a loved one, in service to this great country. You have our deepest gratitude and respect. God bless."
"We don't know what is going on inside of most people. On this #MemorialDay, when so many are grieving in obscurity or silence, let's...keep that in mind. Be kind so many people are grieving."

Shriver herself is fighting an intense battle: yes, she's lawyered-up with a no-holds-barred divorce attorney in L.A; but so far there's still no official word that she's filed for divorce from Arnold Schwarzenegger. Insiders have said Shriver is seriously weighing her options and the impact the divorce will have on her family.
