Martin Sheen Joining Cast of 'Anger Management'?
Is Martin Sheen Joining Son Charlie Sheen's Series?
Martin Sheen is reportedly joining son Charlie Sheen's series Anger Management full time, if the series gets its expected renewal.
Sheen talked to reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour on Saturday about the mega-renewal of Anger Management -- a whopping 90 episodes.
Sheen said it's "exciting as hell" that the show is likely to get an order for 90 more episodes over two years, noting, "I don't think 90's gonna be enough."

Sheen's dad will play his father on the show. Charlie plays Charlie Goodson, an anger-management therapist on the series.
Martin will make his first guest-star appearance on the August 16 episode of Anger Management, which Charlie calls "the best episode we did."
FX boss John Landgraf noted that bringing Sheen's father on board "will give an extra dimension and make it a multi-generational family show. The show will still deal with his relationship with his patients and the women in his life, but will also [expand to focus on his family]."
Anger Management would shoot the megaload of episodes over just two years, giving the actors no time for rehearsals, rather, executive producer Bruce Helford explains, "The actors get the lines, we see the scene, the writers make changes, the actors go to makeup, cameras are blocked, we come back together and shoot the scene."
