Matt Lauer Needs Surgery To Repair Bambi Damage
The deer claims the shoulder.
It has been a dangerous time for bikers. Lance Armstrong, King of the Bike, fell off his noble perch in the Tour of Castilla y Leon, fracturing his collarbone. And Matt Lauer, King of Morning Television, was knocked from his high perch by a forest creature. And now it seems poor Matty is going to have to get surgery on his shoulder from his run-in with the deer.
As we reported yesterday, Lauer was involved in a bike accident when a deer darted out in front of him and Lauer flew over the handlebars of his bike. Apparently, his injuries are worse than expected.
Lauer separated his shoulder during the Bambi altercation and will require surgery. Eh-gawd! Despite that, a publicist for the Today show says Lauer is "doing well."
That's good to hear. And it leaves us with just one question: What happened to the deer? If you know what happened to the Lauer Leaper, please contact us at creative@limelife.com.
