Meet Elizabetta Canalis: George Clooney's New Italian Girl

At 30 years old, Elizabetta Canalis is already a well-known Italian model and actress. She's done television shows, movies, and even a series of topless calendars. But nothing can prepare her for the international attention that comes with dating one of the biggest stars in the world: George Clooney.

The two have been romantically linked, and photographed hugging and kissing, ever since meeting last week while Clooney, 49, was dining on an Italian rooftop terrace with some associates.

Since then the pair have been spotted canoodling at cafes, leaving hotels together and jetting around Milan on Clooney's motorcycle.

Canalis, of course, is no stranger to the attention. She has been linked to a number of famous soccer players in the past, even prompting the press to dub her a "serial soccer star dater." But now the young bombshell is ready for a deeper relationship.

"I have now become more fussy about who I date. And in any case my future boyfriend will have to share my bed with [her mini Doberman] Piero, too," she recently told Italian magazine Tu. "Before in love I used to play much more, now I don't want to waste any more time with wrong relationships. I just want someone who can make me find tranquility. I want to get home and find a person who can make me feel good."

So hopefully The Cloonster is man enough to give Canalis what she needs. After all, and this is just a guess, but a world-famous Italian superstar may be a bit more demanding than an unknown Las Vegas waitress.
