Meet Meysi! She Might Be The Smallest Dog In The World
When She Reaches One Year Old, She Could Qualify
Forget pups that fit in your pocketbook, this one could squeeze into your change purse. Meysi, a tiny, three-month-old Terrier who lives with her owner in Poland, is now a current frontrunner to win the title of World's Smallest Dog.
Due to her size - she was born weighing just 1.58 ounces - Meysi nearly didn't make it. Her owner, Anna Pohl, had to take off work in order to feed Meysi around the clock with a syringe, which would allow the dog to grow at a rate that would save her life.
Now healthier and thriving, itty-bitty Meysi may still end up being named the World's Smallest Pooch. She just needs to wait until she's one year old in order to qualify for a judgment by the Guinness Book of World's Records.

She's in for some ruff competition, however. Other pooches vying for the title include Milly, a Chihuahua from Puerto Rico who stands at just three inches and Beyonce, a Dachshund who's currently just the size of an iPhone.
May the best paw win!
