Let Us Rephrase: Would You Pay $8,000 to Make Your Eyebrows Look Like Megan Fox's?
We all know it's true: women will do some crazy things, suffer some very uncomfortable moments and pay insane amounts of money, all in the name of beauty. But are women really shelling out $8,000 and transplanting hair from their heads just to make their eyebrows look like Megan Fox's?
In a word, yup.

Plastic surgeon Jeffrey Epstein says he's performing 12-15 of the eyebrow procedures every month, in which women in New York City and Miami are plunking down eight thousand dollars and asking him to give them "The Megan."
"Over the last two years, it's got really big," Dr. Epstein tells the New York Post. "A lot of women want (to copy) the Kardashians, but Megan Fox is far and away the favorite."
The very expensive treatment, which can take up to three hours to perform, involves taking hair from a woman's head and transplanting to her face. It can take as many as 400 individual hairs to achieve the desired look, with the Post reporting that women sometimes opt for it to remedy an over-plucking scenario.
The procedure, which was originally developed to treat burn victims and has also been used to treat baldness in men, requires being sedated with Valium and Ambien, and numbed with shots of Lidocaine.
And once the scalp hair becomes the new brow hair, frequent trimming is necessary, because the new brows start to grow at the same rate the hair would if it were still on your scalp.
Still, women are seeking out the surgery more and more frequently, all in the name of sporting the elusive Megan Fox-y perfectly-arched eyebrows.

Epstein, not surprisingly, says he understands the obsession.
"She has great facial structure, and her brows make the most beautiful frame for her features. It's an amazing look to re-create," he says. "The hairs go straight up at the head of her eyebrow and then go into a more crosshatch pattern as they taper off laterally."
And besides … $8,000 a session, 12-15 times a month? Another reason Dr. Epstein might be such a fan of The Megan.
